During various projects of the network of competence JOIN the suitability of different coatings for the automobile industry using applied join methods are being investigated. Optimising of coating and join technology Essential research of the method- and specific coating problems (f.e. electrode wear during resistance spot welding) shall help optimising the coating and join technology.
