Filler materials for high-strength appliances
|
Through the usage of austenistischen weld deposit, high-strength martensitische steel can be welded to prevent cold crack- and brittle-failure. Also, using filler wire, thin and less thin plates can be welded for being put into practice in safety engineering. Using Duplex-weld deposit the firmness of the weld deposit can be increased for up to 50%, to ca. 900 Mpa.

Highlights
- MAG-welding with highly alloyed metall powder filler wire (pulse current and direct current) - welding of high-strength martensitischer TM-sheetsteel (QT) - austenitisch/austenitisch-ferritisches weld deposit prevents cold cracks - smaller metallurgic notch through minor heat input - higher vibration resistance through improved seam outflow - consistent intermixture ratios needed – dissimilar welding
