Home english | Events | Public expert conference E1 2007 Public expert conference "Knowledge Management 2007" During the approbation of JOIN, made by the BMWA, the competence network received the mission of knowledge transfer to the Austrian industry and trade as a condition. Under these circumstances, a series of meetings were held on three different places: On the 18th of October 2007 in Sattledt, hosted by Fronius On the 23rd of October 2007 in Graz hosted by TU-Graz IWS On the 29th of October 2007 in Vienna hosted by the central institute for welding design Motto of the event: "news about welding technology" This very successful series of events was used to communicate new techniques and very specific knowledge of single JOIN partners to interested visitors. Also, a factory tour of the new production location was offered in Sattledt (Firma Fronius) and the Technical University Graz offered a tour of the Friction Stir Welding site.
