FSW-Colloquium 2006
The 23rd of May 2006 saw the first Friction Stir Welding colloquium at the Technical University of Graz. Amongst a series of interesting lectures by members of industry and science, there was also the official opening of the new friction stir welding system. Through the demonstrations on aluminium and steel components the participants could experience the process in practice. During the event many questions were raised and there was a very lively change of views between the participants. We would like to hereby thank all of those, who made the success of the event possible.
